Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner, y'all! Celebrating Mexico's surprise victory over the French has been a tradition for almost two centuries. And it's a tradition full of great music, food, and cocktails.

Every year, Austin organizations and restaurants put together some spectacular events for all to enjoy. Here's a roundup of where to go for Cinco de Mayo in Austin this year.

Then the local restaurant will help you recover from all the Cinco celebration on May 6, with $5 Tito's Bloody Mary's and the best Tex-Mex available for the job.

3/ Indian Roller Cinco de Mayo Car Show

If you want to do something a little different, head over to Indian Roller for its first annual car show. Cinco de Mayo festivities will include plenty of drink and food specials, music, and dancing. Also, Panchitas Taco Truck turns one-year-old that day, and will hand out free tacos for a limited time.

Enjoy mariachi karaoke in the evening and finish up with the Disco de Mayo party.

If the pepper-eating contest is not your cup of tea, then cheer on the brave contestants while enjoying a watermelon jalapeño margarita and a taco.
